How does one stop the “Creative Cloud Desktop App” from updating when a mandatory update is released?

Bigfix community, We would like to control that automatic update behavior in enterprise.
While one can easily go into the user preferences and disable “Auto Update”, a new problem will occur. Once a Mandatory update is available, users will receive a popup block (see example below). They will be unable to signon unless they choose the update option. Is there a way to bypass this message. If you have any ideas or insights I would appreciate your help.

Your only real way of stopping this happening is to blacklist *.adobe.com at the network / host level.

@FatScottishGuy thanks for your advice. Do you mean blocking all network traffic via router from *.adobe.com? If I am understanding you correctly, that would fix this problem but we may also block necessary traffic from from *.Adobe.com. Then the cure may be worse than the problem. Correct?

Yeah pretty much that, unless you can use the host file to block the traffic too but more defined
