How do I set clients to connect through IP Address to a relay?

Hello folks!

Is there any way to make a relay to be found through IP Address?

I mean, our root server is recognized by DNS Name, that’s how our masthead is set. We want to make a small lab environment and the Linux relay computer we have doesn’t have its name recognized by our DNS Server.

So how do I set only this relay to be recognized by IP Address without messing with our productive environment?

Thank you.

There is content in the BES Support site:

155 BES Relay Setting: Name Override

As long as there is only 1 IP address for the relay, this will set a client setting to the IP of the relay. This will then filter down to the relay.dat file and allow for the IP to be selected over the DNS Name.

Didn’t think it would be that easy.

Thank you very much sir!
