Hide Undefined Results

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Hello,

When I create a report just utilizing properties from the “Summarize” selection box - and if I select Hide Undefined Results - the report still displays all the results. Choosing properties from the Primary/Secondary/Tertiary - and the Hide Undefined - does remove all the s.

Should it not work in “Summarize”? Thanks.

Mike,

The behavior that you describe is intended. Since multiple properties can be summarized, hiding the whole row if any of the properties is doesn’t seem like the best behavior. The “Hide Undefined” feature was designed to eliminate branches of the tree for Primary/Secondary/Tertiary properties.

I would like to use the “Hide Undefined” feature in the same way. I’m creating a report calling only one property using the “Summarize” selection box and would like to hide undefined results. I don’t need to use the any of the organize results selection boxes as the results are already sorted by computer name as I need it.
