Has anyone queried for HP Proliant Dynamic Power Mode?
I didn’t go digging into WMI just yet for this, but I’m guessing I need to. This sounds like a good thing to check for to save some money on power.

Power Regulator for ProLiant is currently supported in static low, static high, dynamic, and os control power modes on ProLiant servers with processors listed in the chart below. Note: The processors listed below may not be supported on all ProLiant server models. Review the product QuickSpecs to determine which processors are supported on specific ProLiant servers.
Power Regulator for ProLiant Settings:
HP Static Low Power Mode: Reduces processor speed and power usage. Guarantees a lower maximum power usage for the system.
HP Static High Performance Mode: Processors will run in their maximum power/performance state at all times regardless of the OS power managment policy.
HP Dynamic Power Savings Mode: Automatically varies processor speed and power usage based on processor utilization. Allows reducing overall power consumption with little or no impact to performance. Does not require OS support.
OS Control Mode: Processors will run in their maximum power/performance state at all times unless the OS enables a power management policy.
