Has AnyOne installed BES on Voice Application Server?

Hi All,

Voice application is very sensitive as any minor server performance may affect the quality of voice. And any slight change in quality of voice will affect the business of the Company.

Therefore my company top management would like to know is there any BigFix user, did a installation of BES Agent on any voice application before, and whether will it affect the performance?

Currently some of the voice application that we used are as follow:

Proprietary Avaya Applications

Custom Visual Basic Voice Applications

Custom C Voice Applications

IBM Director

Facsys FAX Server

Verint Audio and Screen Logger Applications

WhatsUP Professional Premium Edition

Hi Edmund

We have installed BES across our voice recording servers (VERINT) and we have not noticed any performance issues or degredation in the quality of the recordings.

We’ve been running BES on them for over 12 months now and patch them each month using BES.

Obviously we only patch them out of operational hours.

Hello,

We utilize the BES client on our voicemail server (NEC AD120 - for about 4 years now) and on our Vocera servers (2 years). There has been no performance hit to the servers with the agent running - for us.
