GPO deployment of client, with config file?

So GPOs want an MSI, which makes using a script and running setup (with the masthead and config file) difficult. If I use the bigfix.msi file, how do I make it “take” the config file" settings ? Do I need another GPO that drops the masthead and client config file in the right location first ?

You can modify the MSI with a tool like Orca or InstedIT. In the registry table you can add registry entries like the WorkIdle or default relay settings and then the client will use those settings on installation.
