Gather LDAP attributes during enrolment

Hi all,

Is it possible to gather/retrieve data from the LDAP directory during enrolment to serve the purpose of, and negate the need to ask enrolment questions for information that is already stored and managed in a directory?

Maybe this is something a fixlet can populate after enrolment?? This would be possible if I knew how to run a task/fixlet on a device other than the client (as mobile devices don’t really have a way of running complex tasks)

Hey Michael,

Similar to your ‘updating enrollment answers’ question, this is something on our list (in fact, we might solve both at the same time).

You can use a Fixlet to update this info on a computer (a “client setting” should work), but we don’t have the out-of-the-box way to keep the LDAP data up-to-date on the device.
