I’m not bad with reading pdf’s and working through things but will there be any formal training offered for generating custom reports, etc.

I’m digging through the session inspectors but it would be cool to have some classes offered. I’m sure you guys have some best practises and helpful tips and tricks that would make things go swimmingly.

We didn’t have a formal training class because when we created the custom reporting ability, we weren’t sure if our customers would want to use it much, but many people here on the forum have showed us that there is quite a bit of interest.

I will put you in touch with our professional services department who can talk to you more about some training options we are developing.

Hi rdamours,

Thanks for your suggestion regarding a BigFix coure covering the session inspectors used to generate custom reports. My group is responsible for developing and delivering customer training. We’ve talked for awhile about delivering a Custom Reporting course, and if the interest is there, we could be ready to pilot the course in a relatively short time.

I’d definately be interested as well as a couple of others here as we can do some very specific data mining to report on exactly what we are looking for.

I’m sure the course would be in the advanced category of training. The others I would be looking at dragging along would need the basic and custom content training first.

Let me know when you are looking at offering this course and I’ll sign up as part of your pilot group.

So when are we all going…good times I say.

I’d be into a two or three day course. The course would break up the work year nicely at this point.
