Folder Share lists in windows machines

how do we get the results like what are the folders and drive has been shared from the windows machines.
can anyone share the relevance?

Bill,
This analysis is great. Is it possible to point it at a particular folder on a share, i.e. \cluster\CompanyName\department\common\JohnSmith?
In this example I have users that are mapping a drive to the folder JohnSmith but the actual share is CompanyName. I have a requirement to report all users that have access to the folder JohnSmith and what permissions are granted to those users.
