Flash player 21.0.0.182 & BigFix Wizards

Hi Guys

We’ve installed the latest flash player and now the wizards won’t load…

Any idea?

Open Internet Explorer and see if your able to view flash based content.

Yeah, i tried that too, it doesn’t work on the adobe site (to test your flash).

So that’s the problem, now the solution :wink:

But it’s not BigFix related, so never mind then!

There are two flash players – a plugin based flash player and an active-x one – for BigFix you need the Active-X Flash Player. You can obtain the latest installers of both type here: http://www.adobe.com/sea/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Yes, I tried that, but I think our proxy is blocking that:

I believe if you use the .MSI installer you can avoid the Adobe Download Manager entirely.

Tried that too… It says that it’s installed, but it doesn’t work so… If I have time, i’ll try to figure it out. For the moment i’m using the console on the server :smile:

Once you get it figured out, I’d recommend uninstalling flash from the root server.
