Fixlets view based on online/offline status

Is there a way to view the fixlets that are applicable only to the machines that are online? I always have several hundred oustanding fixlets because i always have at least one user traveling or out of the office when we push patches. I would like to see the patches i can push (that will actual effect something) when i do a push.

I realize you can setup the fixes “policy” style so that the fixlet is automatically deployed when they connect, but are trying to prevent have a permanent open action for every fixlet available.

Ideas?

Hey Joe,

Assuming you are using BES 6.0:

  • Go to the computers tab and sort the computers by Last Report Time.
  • Highlight the “online” computers.
  • Right click and choose “View as Group”.
  • Then you can see Fixlets/Tasks/etc for this group.
