We’d like to see some type of tags (BigFix Properties? - Checkboxes?) implemented for every fixlet / task that would allow us to quickly filter on those tags . We need to be able to quickly find all fixlets / Tasks that can:
Run on a certain OS
Pertain to a certain OS
Pertain to a certain Software Application
Were superseded.
And any combination of the above with the ability to generate (web) reports based on the above.
While the search feature is great and gives us some of the functionality, it’s difficult to find all the patches for a given system / application and report on them. A good example of this is MS09-035 or any of the Office / SQL patches.
For custom fixlets / tasks, ideally, selecting those checkboxes would also build the relevance into the fixlet / task.
