When will the fixlet for 2021-05 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.7.2 and 4.8 for Windows Server 2019 for x64 (KB5001879) be available?
What I find difficult to understand is why we have to raise blog entries and cases (I had to raise 2 cases in last month to get supersede chains fixed) to get fixlets created when shouldn’t we expect this by having licenses that we pay for to get this service?
The fixlets are there.
There are two patches
4601558 Description of the Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10, version 1809 and Windows Server, version 2019 (KB4601558)
4601555 Description of the Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 1809 and Windows Server, version 2019 (KB4601555)
Those are preview patches. Where is KB5001879? As you can see from his screen shot, it appears the machine he was using has a fix called KB5001879.
update: Total of 3 fixlets needed

Thanks @JasonWalker. It still looks like there is no available fixlet for KB5001882. I was under the impression that fixlets were released within 24 hours of Microsoft releasing the KB.
I’m checking with the team now…to be clear, if published this would be in the “ESU Patching Add-On for Windows 2008”, not the “Patches for Windows” site, as this is a Win2008 patch that requires an ESU patching entitlement to obtain.
(I’ve checked, it’s not there either, so I’m inquiring on the team since other .NET Framework Updates for 2008 SP2 were published to ESU as expected)
I’ve checked with the team, and believe we have this covered.
Microsoft published a KB article for KB5001882 as something of a “metadata” KB at Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 4.5.2, 4.6 for Windows Server 2008 SP2 (KB5001882) - Microsoft Support
There is no actual KB5001882 patch, though. Instead the article, and the download links from the MS Update Catalog, reference several individual KB patches that “add up” to the KB5001882 bulletin.
From the KB page:
Additional information about this update
The following articles contain additional information about this update as it relates to individual product versions.
4578951 Description of the Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0 for Windows Server 2008 SP2 (KB4578951)
4578955 Description of the Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.5.2 for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 (KB4578955)
5001848 Description of the Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2 for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 (KB5001848)
And screenshot from the MS Catalog Download Links:
Of the listed patches, most are actually older patches still present in the “Patches for Windows” site. The only newer ones I see are kb4578951, KB4578955, and kb5001848, which are in the ESU patching site.
KB5001848 is the only updated one for May; kb4578951 is from Oct 2020 and KB4578955 was originally released in Oct 2020 and updated in March 2021.
I think this covers all of the updates, but please let me know if I’ve missed something.
