Fix Date in reporting

Can someone explain to me the “Fix Date” column in BigFix reporting? Is that when the patch was installed on the server but still awaiting a reboot or after it has been rebooted and actually is applied? Thanks for any help

It’s the time the source fixlet switched to Not Relevant, which is usually the time it was installed. Most of the fixlets have a ‘not pending restart “fixlet_hash”’ statement that causes it to report Not Relevant when the patch has been installed, before reboot.

That said, many of the patches are not effective until a reboot occurs. This can vary by product and by patch, but it’s usually a good idea to reboot after patching.
