Please see if the following technote applies in your case by taking a look at some Client logs and comparing those against the other symptoms specified:

Aram, Thanks for your reply, I am not sure the link which you shared is related to FillDB error which i am getting? but i am getting this error in FillDB.log not in the client or relay logs.

Thu, 07 Jul 2016 10:54:17 -0500 – 924 – Encountered at least one error while processing archive file E:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\FillDBData\bufferdir\00000000000022d1 in buffer; the archive was processed, but at least one part of it was discarded.

Did you check the logs of computer with IDs 4498164, 13498262 or 1608209?

Ohk, unfortunately i can’t get the client logs of those machine, do i check if restart of agent will resolve this issue? Or something else i should check for the time being .

I too am seeing Client report has no verified signer. Discarding message from computer 13262147

the reason I noticed it was because the fillDBlog was showing a warning in the Bigfix deployment health …
The Machine ID in question is actually a relay…
When I look in the dbo.COMPUTER_REGISTRATIONS table I can find the compute ID and see this…
ComputerID ParentID IsRelay IsProxyDevice IsWakeOnLANForwarder IPAddress Subnet MACAddress ClientVersion RelayVersion RegistrationTime RegistrationSequence ResendReportsRequired LastGoodReportSequence LastBadReportSequence Sequence ManyVersion OriginServerID OriginSequence
13262147 1458409 0 0 0 2001:468:c80:2104:b1af:eb3f:d0e:12bb NULL NULL 9.0.835.0 NULL 2017-01-11 21:18:42.197 22745 0 0 0 0x000000005F5BA2E1 0x0000048D NULL NULL

Sorry for the formatting…
Locating the V6 IP address, it turns out its the second IP address assigned to this machine (it has a fixed IP address and this one in question I think is the DHCP assigned address)…
The relay is fully up to date with the latest relay and client yet the table show the client registered for this IPV6 address as 9.0.835 which is ancient and incorrect…
Question is, how can I correct the client registrations table and therefore the fillDB log errors for a machine that doesnt actually exist… The Actual real ID of the relay is 1458409

the RegistrationlistCleaner is no longer available for V8.2 and above…

Hi Pete - I realize this is an older thread, but did you ever come up with a resolution for this? Perhaps upgrading the Relay or Client?

Thanks
