That’s an interesting article; I believe in the past Express updates were WSUS/SCCM exclusive, but this sentence certainly indicates that 3rd party tools may support them:
“Devices connected directly to Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), System Center Configuration Manager, or a third-party update manager that supports express updates will receive these smaller payloads.”
…give companies and third-party update management tools time to implement support for express updates.
I’m all for it. Hopefully IBM has plans to implement this functionality; if not, I’ll vote for that RFE in a heartbeat
Any update on what BigFix is planning to do in regards to Microsoft delta updates?
