Exclude fixlet in baseline from computer group

I have several automatic computer groups. I create a new baseline for the site each month. I’d like to run the same baseline on each group but exclude a fixlet type from one or more of the groups.

Example: Our Dec baseline contains .Net fixlets but one of our computer groups can’t receive them even though the computers are relevent or it will break the apps that run on them.

Also, how do I keep them from showing up as relevent in my reports?

Hey Rob,

There isn’t an easy way to do this in the manner you described… I think you will need to make a baseline without the Fixlets and apply it to those specific computers.

You’re suggesting a separate baseline for each group or at least each group that requires one. If I have 10 groups that becomes a lot of work each month. So there’s no way to exclude a particular fixlet from a group?

FWIW, there is a feature request (http://forum.bigfix.com/viewtopic.php?id=1863) from 2008 you could add your name to.
