How would it be possible to track our Anti-Virus agents. We use Nod32 from Eset. It would be brilliant if I could monitor it in the Client Manager for Anti-Virus Overview? Whats the best way to ask BigFix for this? Thanks for any help.
It is a significant amount of work for us to maintain a new AV vendor in our Client Manager for AV site and so we make a business case to evaluate each new AV vendor that we are asked to support. Probably the best thing to do is to send in a support case requesting we consider adding this and it helps us log it in our feature request system.
We don’t have any plans to support this AV vendor at this time.
Note that now that we have a new partnership with Trend Micro and we are working on an integrated offering that we think will be very attractive to BigFix customer (and Trend Micro customers)… The idea is that we have the power of the high-quality endpoint-protection agent from Trend (AV, AS, HIPS, etc) and the whole thing is fully integrated and managed inside of BigFix. We have already completed a lot of the integration and I am excited about the results… More info will come soon…
