Errors while rolling out MaaS 360

This also installs BigFix enterprise. I’m experiencing problems with a C++ run time error on some users and not on others. All are running XP Pro with all the same software and configurations/network connections, etc… I keep getting:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client\BESClient.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.

This keeps popping up every 30 seconds or so with offers to debug. Continuous loop… what can I do to fix it.

I am not sure… You might want to contact Fiberlink tech support to help you troubleshoot more…

The bright folks back east found it is a regestry key. Here’s what the .reg file contains:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\BeyondTrust\PrivilegeManager

“ExcludedApps”=“C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Client\BESClient.exe”
