Error Upgrading from 9.2.5 to 9.2.8.74

I started the upgrade from from 9.2.5 to 9.2.8.74 in my test environment. I clicked next a couple of times, but the upgrade had not appeared to start. I canceled the upgrade, and logged on as my service account user. I restarted the upgrade and got the message “There was an error connecting to the database”. I have a PMR opened, but have not received an answer yet.

I saw someone else’s post who had a similar issue and was told by development to delete both the 32 and 64 bit entries for Bigfix and they would be recreated during the upgrade. I am skeptical that this would work, and would like some assurance before I try it.
