Error during inventory upgrade

I am doing an upgrade and I am getting this error

I reccommend opening a case with HCL.

For what it is worth, there should be a .zip file with all logs/etc from upgrade in the root install folder of BFI and hypothetically if you re-launch the installer it should resume from the step that previously failed, so should be indicative where it failed but a case i definitely a must.

Please open support case. Nothing known. Message points me to checking of installation directory and installer toolkit records.

Have you been moving the BFI to different path after installation? Does the path specified in “C:\Program Files\Zero G Registry.com.zerog.registry.xml” matched the existing installation dir? Was BFI operational / in use before upgrade?

When opening a support case please share some history of environment in the case. Was was it status before attempting the upgrade - was it fully functional? Why you are upgrading to the 11.0.0.0 not 11.0.0.3?

I open a case. Support suggested I do a restore with my backup and retry the upgrade, which still didnt work.

Looks like I have to do a fresh installation

I had to uninstall totally and do a fresh install.
