Error 1053

Hi there

I get error message of " can not start BES root Server on local computer

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"

I have tried solution from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839174 , the problem still persist.

Need your suggestion what can I before heading to refromat the whole BES ? Thank you

Hi Lee,

It could be lots of different issues… can you tell me what version of the BES Server you are using?

Also, you probably will get much more timely response if you contact our support.
