This is a deprecation notice for the legacy Self-Service Portal (SSP) and Trusted Service Provider (TSP) components that are currently part of BigFix Software Distribution (SWD). These components are used to provide a centralized Self-Service Portal and some functionality for Application Management Groups. The SSP & TSP are now deprecated, and will no longer be supported after 31 May 2019. The new endpoint-based Self-Service Application (SSA) is not affected by this announcement, and provides a significantly better Self-Service experience intended to replace the SSP & TSP functionality.
Who is affected:
Users currently using the SSP and/or TSP as part of BigFix Software Distribution.
Action to take:
To continue providing Self-Service SWD to end users, deploy the BigFix Self-Service Application and re-deploy your SWD content for use in the SSA.
