Encryption: Relay Communication

According to what i read here: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/Tivoli%20Endpoint%20Manager/page/Security%20Overview TLS can be enabled between agent and relay. I’m wondering if there is any encryption happening between relays (if not, can it be configured?)

Thanks!

Once you have enabled the “enhanced security” all the TCP communication between the Bigfix components, including the relays, use the https and TLS 1.2. If you are concerned about the “downstream communication” (notifications) it is only UDP and only between the relay and the clients.

There is also the best practice around Internet facing relays, which is to Enable Relay Authentication and to password protect relay diagnostics page.

We are about to enable this on a portion or all of our environment (new and just getting started with BF).
