From WebReports …

  1. Click “Explore Data”
  2. Under the Filter select “Computer” then type “Last Report Time”, select “Greater Than”, enter “1” and select “Hours”
  3. Include any additional fields/properties you want included in the report, Computer Name is a default, if you want the FQDN, include a property for it in the report.
  4. Save the Report (I used “Last Report 1 Hour”)
  5. Click on “Report List” find your report (“Last Report 1 Hour”), click the word “No” in the Scheduled column.
  6. Fill out the schedule information as you see fit.

Assuming you have WebReports configured to be able to send you email messages, you should now receive an emailed report of machines that have not reported in the last hour.

Be careful how you trigger the report or you may get a substantial number of emails from the server every day. I know that with my installation of 37k endpoints, we have a large number of laptops that may be turned off at any given time so i’d limit
my
report to once a day. You could also adjust the Filter to only include Endpoints of a particular type (ie Servers, etc).

NOTE
: The time it takes for an Endpoint to be ‘greyed out’ in the console is configurable for each Console installation. It’s under
File
|
Preferences
and is the “
Mark as offline after
” property. It’s not a server wide setting.

Hi ,

Thanks for excellent reply. Can I trigger this report based on relevance.

Thanks

Niraj

There is a field for Relevance to be used to trigger the report. It’s in the
Activity Triggers
section.

What kind of Relevance did you have in mind?
