Editing SCA Exception?

Is it possible to work around the error in the screenshot? Asking because the exception can no longer be edited/saved due to “1 of the originally defined checks has been deleted.” The only thing we’ve been able to do is delete the exception entirely and re-add it along with all the checks. Extremely tedious work.

Edit: We are on BigFix Compliance version: 2.0.6.27

Does anyone else even use exceptions within Bigfix Compliance? Just curious about the experience with the above section. Thanks again!

I don’t think it will get you anywhere is the short answer, unfortunately. Exception management and in fact computer group management (and the intersection thereof) are extremely old, have a ton of well-documented deficiencies and even bugs, and require a major overhaul which has been the top of the agenda for the product from conversations with PMs but it never really materialized… At the moment, everything is being described “this his how it works”, so you have to find your own way around it (recreate exceptions; making sure you amend exceptions BEFORE deleting checks/checklists; so on, And yes, we are in the same boat unfortunately!
