Hi

Is it possible configure the permissions of a operator who has allow “custom content” to see/use the wizards?

I want to allow them to access and use the wizards but they cannot view them unless I make them an administrator.

How do I get around this without making them an administrator?

Hi Deano,

Yes, you just need to check the box in BES Admin ‘Give this user the ability to create custom content’ and they will be able to see and use wizards.

I’m not sure what the problem could be. Maybe the user isn’t allowed to see any Fixlet sites that contain wizards (check Tool->Manage Sites)?

Sorry but I am quite new to BigFix.

The user only really needs access to the Software Deployment Wizard. I have had a look under Tools > Manage Sites but I cannot see anything for the SW Deployment wizard?

Any pointers?
