Duplicated conputers: Client identity missing in the registration request

Hi

Have 9.5 Patch 7 installed and am seeing the following errors in the relay.log
and then each computer is duplicated in the console.

I have clientIdentityMatch=100 set to help reduce duplicated computers.

The servers duplicated were mostly AIX with besclient 9.2.0363

The clients must also be running 9.5.7 and complete a registration while clientIdentityMatch=100 is set, in order to use this feature.

This probably explains the issue why the AIX servers (having the right computer ID) failed and issued the message (client identity missing)

Any chance of a technote explaining this in more detail for all to view. We opened a pmr and were told just a few mins ago the this feature works with a 9.2 client

As part of the patching process the root volume group was cloned the night before. When restarted the seq no was invalid and hence the client reset. Will upgrade the AIX agents to 9.57 and see if they are still duplicated
