As part of the acquisition of BigFix by IBM, we’re doing some name changes and rebranding. As of today, the product previously known as BigFix DSS SAM is now called Tivoli Endpoint Manager for Software Usage Analysis.
The DSS SAM content site and the DSS SAM web application have both been modified to reflect the new name and ownership. The rebranded release of the web component is version 1.3 and the current version of the content site is 18.
Note that the gather URL has not changed for the site and the Tivoli Endpoint Manager for Software Usage Analysis 1.3 feature set is the same as the previous release of DSS SAM (version 1.2.4).
All currently-licensed DSS SAM/Tivoli Endpoint Manager for Software Usage Analysis customers may now download the update and all associated product documentation using the same URL they received from BigFix Licensing when they purchased the product or, where applicable, from the IBM Passport Advantage system.
