Download issues with Windows patches

Hi Team!

I have an issue with one of my servers and i need your help to define the problem since i can’t find it…

I tried to execute MS25-JUN windows patch on few of my endpoints and if failed during download phase.
I want to say that from the server link to download is opening and i can download this file manually to my server via standard browser.

Other files that a cashed on the server (and new files) are correctly loading to the endpoints via different commands (with and without prefetch, direct “download now”).

Here are log files from the end point. It just says “failed” without error codes or explanations.

Please, help me to identify and fix the issue.
You can ask for any additional information and i will try to provide it.

What do you see in the console if you go to that action and check the Download section, is it showing Failed or Download cached?

//sample reference

If it is showing Cached on server, and the logs you’ve captured are from a client machine, the issue is more likely related to your network. Please refer to the HCL KB article below for further guidance.

“JobFailed - cancel and fail action” error during deployment

Hello vk.khurava.

Yes, it shows “cashed on Server”.
Yes, the logs are from Client machine.
here are the screenshoots.

How can it be related to network if other files are passing correctly without any issues?

Best regards,
Anton.

You can open case with HCL support team for detailed investigation.

You’d be surprised about how sneaky network (mis)configurations are capable of causing issues like these… I still do myself

If you want to go more in-depth, I remember a Client setting that enables a separate logging trace for file downloads (see here), maybe that can help.

In any case, I also second what vk.khurava said, you can definitely open a case to the BigFix Support team to get more help
