Does TEM agent for android support JB 4.1.1?

Hello,

I installed agent on JB 4.1.1 and it work very strange - it took quite a time till it reported to BES server, and also it did not report device details.

The question is - is JB 4.1.1 supported by TEM ?

Hi Eli,

Jellybean is definitely supported. The first time that you start the TEM agent after you configure it always takes longer to report than subsequent times. Some of my devices take almost 5 minutes to appear in the console but once they do then they have similar levels of responsiveness as Windows/Linux agents.

Thank you for reply. My agent took almost 15 minutes to appear at BES console. However, I still can not see the regular information like device details - Instead I get : “This device hasn’t reported results yet. Refresh again in a few minutes.” I also can not see other things, like installed applications list.

I do see that agent is reporting to the server on regular basis, last report time is just few minutes ago.

Other devices that I have (running ICS 4.0.3) are reporting ok.

BTW, I forgot to mention - I am using stock JB 4.1.1 on Nexus i9250 device.

I reinstalled the ROM on the device + full wipe - then re-installed the agent and it seems to work now.

Good to know that reimaging fixed the problem. I tested this in the Android 4.1 emulator that comes with the development kit and my analyses were returning the right values but as soon as I get a JB device I’ll give it a go :slight_smile:
