Hi guys
Is it possible to disable client logging?
Cheers

You mean the normal logs? I don’t think so… may I ask why would you want to do that?

We’ve had to disable client logging on 70 machines (out of 2600) which have the BESClientlogging process taking up to 90% of CPU. Disabling/reinstalling doesn’t fix this issue - am concerned as the client logging service provides additional logging for Bigfix Antivirus…
Ben - does the Client logging service install automatically when the BES Client installs?

Hi burdenuik,
The BES Client Logging Service is only required for certain BigFix integrations such as the BigFix AntiVirus and BigFix AntiPest (it integrates with the partner APIs). You can disable it and the BigFix Agent should work fine, but you might lose some info like which viruses were found by BigFix AV.
In any event, you should consider starting a support case to figure out why you have this issue.

I would be interested to know what causes this.
Has happened on a number of production machines. What should we collect in order to investigate this further?
