Is it possible to make a copy of a check fixlet in order to allow for multiple locations of a configuration file? For instance, RHEL-06-000231 allows me to specify the location of sshd_config and in my environment, there are 2 possible locations, depending on the server build.

Are there any drawbacks to making a copy of this fixlet, adding in relevance on both copies to check for a specific pid (based on the running ssh daemon) and still have both copies report back to the same analysis?

There are a couple of ways to do this. There is an undocumented way of setting parameters per-endpoint. It doesn’t have a UI but would be ideal for a situation like this, contact me at jsaxton@us.ibm.com for more details.
