Hi,
I’m having issues creating/deploying a bare metal profile from a Linux image. I followed the steps in these sections of the OSD Users Guide:
Creating Bare Metal Profiles for Linux Images
Deploying a bare metal profile from the target binding menu.
However, when the target server is PXE booted there is no binding menu/no profiles to choose from. This text is displayed - “No task to execute: waiting for next action”.
I noticed the “Profile properties” action that runs when the bare metal profile is sent to the server always fails on the last step. The console still shows one “Servers With Profile”. Below is output from the log file in c:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM Tivoli\mkgenericsysprof.log.
