Can manual install sql2005 or db2 database in the osd server?

ENV: bigfix 9.2.7 (last fixpack)
Deploy OS Deployment Server,download sql2005 form http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/4/D/84DFA98B-CA99-4D53-81C5-CECFF9D20A38/SQLEXPR.EXE but this url now is invalid.

Hi Eric,
this is a known issue, we are going to fix it as soon as possible.
Before installing Bare Metal Server, you can manually install ms sql 2005 / 2008r2 and db2

Hi Eric,

I was having the same issue. I end up installing SQL express 2012 manually, Please remember to use the system account (PSexec) to run the commands from the Bigfix actions. If I didn’t use the system account, then it will fail to communicate.

We are also experiencing this issue. We will be opening a PMR on this. Until then do you have any information beyond the ‘SQL 2005 or SQL 2008’ requirement in the IBM Support Knowledge center? Ie, any DB

Hi,

until the fix is not released, you can use the attached .bes file (single action fixlet) to install MSSQL 2012 SP1 on your x64 computer before launching the bare metal server installation

thank every boday, Have abandoned this bigfix osd, and now use cobbler to replace it

the fix has been released today. Available in the OS Deployment and Bare Metal Imaging site version 61.
