When can we expect BigFix Insights to support custom sites?

Hello!

Insights today does ETL data from Custom Fixlet Sites, but as to when you’ll be able to define which Custom Sites are in and out of scope for a given ETL, we don’t currently have a committed date.

Can you share more details on the use case?

When I look in the Insights database, I am unable to find any Custom Site content. Can you point me to a table in the schema that contains data about Custom Site content?

Also, there is this in the documentation on Insights:

Known issues and limitations
Insights data lake

  • Datasource authentication is currently limited to SQL authentication.
  • Linked objects is limited to external sites, Fixlets, tasks, and analysis.

Note: Custom sites are not supported.

  • BigFix Enterprise Server operators, roles, and unmanaged assets are not ingested by Insights.
  • Insights supports ingesting data from eight or fewer BigFix Enterprise databases, depending on performance qualification.

Scratch that - I do see the custom content sites in the datasources_sites table. I was looking at the etl_sites table, which shows which external sites are included in the ETL. I think I was expecting to see the custom content sites in here as well. Your explanation helped.

I guess the documentation is out of date.
