Creating custom signatures

IBM documentation refers users who are wanting to create custom signatures to the Signature Community at http://bigfix.me/signature. The last posts there were 12-18-2018. Is this the active signature community?

Below is one of the references under “Expanding the custom software catalog”:

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKLLW_9.5.0/com.ibm.bigfix.inventory.doc/Inventory/softinv/c_creating_deleting_catalog_entries.html

“Before you create custom signatures, check the signature community. It is a place where you can find custom signatures that are created by members of the community. You can download such signatures and import them to BigFix Inventory. After you create your custom signatures, consider contributing the community.”

Yeah not too active  You can always come to this forum for any help.

What specific signatures are you interested in? Does the software in question show up in either of the Package Data or Scanned File Data reports? If so, you can create signatures directly from the Package Data - Name or Scanned File Data - File Name columns.

Just checking on the process as documented. The place IBM says to look first appears to not be current.

To @itsmpro92 response, there is a small amount of documentation here on the new way to add signatures as of 9.2.11. You can also configure the view to show the Normalized data to understand better what is going to be added to the signature should you choose to opt for this process.

I’m trying to find that information on the HCL site. IBM took it down and I hope it was not lost.
