So I created a baseline with March’s Windows critical patches.
I set it applicable to just windows clients.
I thought I could just set it as a policy and if a computer comes on the domain a week from now that the policy would take effect?
How can I do this.
I set it this way…
Select baseline
Take Action
Preset = Policy
Specific computers selected in the list below
Applicable Computers
OK
With the above policy in effect if a new system comes into the system will the policy take effect and apply said baseline to new systems?

Your target needs to be a dynamic collection of machines, like computers or computers by a retrieved property or an automatic group.

Thanks for the reply.
I was just about to post that same thing as I figured it out last night.
Select Baseline
Take Action
Preset = Policy
All computers with the property values selected in the tree below
Applicable Computers > By Group > (An Automatic Group You Created)
I created an automatic group for all Windows Clients
This will deploy the baseline to applicable computers in the automatic group…
It will also apply the baseline to endpoints that join the group in the future…

What if you release new baseline next month? Will you create a new action again? I am looking for a way that will schedule a task for newly imported baselines automatically. Let me know if you find anything.
