CPU Spike on Console

My CPU is hanging around 100 percent nearly all the time. I changed the Fixlet Refresh from the default 15 seconds to 120 seconds in the Preferences and now it does a double spike every couple of minutes. Is there a downside to having this refresh setting set this high? Or is there some other way to tweak the console from keeping it from using all my CPU all the time.

Try switching your Refresh Interval in the BES Admin to something higher then the default 15 second. If this fails I would check the analysis to make sure there is nothing huge set to evaluate on every report.

using Process Explorer try to find out which process is causing high utlization and also check the server NIC driver version
