Could not find license with serial #xxxxxxx

Hi folks,

Today I face a problem when install IBM BigFix v9.0.5 → I use this version as a UAT environment to test the upgrade. The environment was running using proxy to connect to the internet.

  • I already configured the proxy setting at the server side and ensure that all BigFix services running

  • Also already changed the default logon for (BESGatherServer, BESGatherDB, BESRootServer ) services to account which has privilege to use the proxy and restart those services

After all my steps above, the error still appear and my server cannot download the BigFix sites. Anyone got the same problem with me and solved it?

Hello. It seems that the license serial number in question may not be valid? Can you confirm whether or not the given serial number exists for you when you log in to the License Key Center?

Nope, I use evaluation license not production or demo license. It seems like error in license updater due the proxy settings, but don’t know what BigFix proxy settings that need to be configured.
