"could not authenticate with your windows session credentials"

Over the past couple weeks, we’ve been getting “could not authenticate with your windows session credentials” while launching the BigFix console. When this happens, simply closing the app and launching again seems to help. Anyone else seen this, or any ideas what’s the issue?

Also, interestingly… from the server_audit.log:

Every failed login shows as the Windows down-level logon format (domain name with backslash), whereas immediately retrying the exact same steps shows up as UPN format (email address style) successful log in.

Try deleting the cache for the console in Users<you>\AppData\Local\Bigfix
