A limited number of Dell devices that were temporarily prevented from receiving the July 2026 security update KB5101650 can now install this OOB update. This OOB update is only recommended for devices affected by this issue. If your device is not affected, no action is required. [emphasis added]
It appears that the fixlets for KB5121767 do not have relevance regarding KB5101650, or its impacts, or any way of gating whether the machine previously had issues.
We noticed that Microsoft isn’t actively preventing this update from installing on non-Dell or non-affected devices. We’re currently reviewing the behavior and will adjust our Fixlet relevance if needed

We will be updating the relevance for KB5121767 Fixlets so they only apply to the affected Dell machines with Intel IPF drivers, in line with Microsoft's guidance
