The 2012 Monthly Rollups KB5050048 and KB5050004 are showing up as “Not Relevant” on ESU activated servers. Is there any known issue?

Hi @hsuyip can you please validate that you first installed fixlet # 505011508 - MS25-JAN: Servicing Stack Update - Windows Server 2012 R2 - KB5050115 (x64) as this SSU is a prerequisite.

To install any Windows Server 2012 R2 Monthly Rollup released on or after January 14, 2025, you must first install SSU KB5050115.

Internet Explorer 11 - Windows Server 2012 R2 - KB504999 is showing non Relevant.
Servicing stack KB5050115 and Monthly Rollup KB5050048 has been installed.
Has anyone faced this issue?

Hi @mrao35, if you’ve installed the monthly rollup (KB5050048) then you do not need to install the MS25-JAN: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 - Windows Server 2012 R2 - IE 11 - KB5049994 (x64).

As stated by Microsoft:
The improvements that are included in this Internet Explorer update are also included in the January 2025 Monthly Rollup. Installing either this Internet Explorer update or the Monthly Rollup installs the same improvements.
