HCL BigFix

I see very recently that HCL is addressing the Edge Update for Windows 7/8/8.1/2012/2012R2 where the patch is now not relevant for these unsupported OS.

Switching from:
((name of it = “Win7”) or (name of it = “Win8”) or (name of it = “Win8.1”) OR (name of it = “Win10”) OR (name of it = “Win11”) OR (name of it = “Win2012”) OR (name of it = “Win2012R2”) OR (name of it = “Win2008R2”) OR (name of it = “Win2016”) OR (name of it = “Win2019”) OR (name of it = “Win2022”)) of operating system

To:
exists version whose(it >= “8.1”) of operating system

One issue I am seeing is, there is no Relevant v109 / Not superseded patch for these OS. Is HCL planning to maintain a v109 for these OS, per MS documentation?
My colleague is putting in a ticket today/shortly.

Hi @DerrickD,
We are already having an internal Discussion on the 109 Version, and will update it with an announcement when we have an agreement on how to handle the same, But the 110 False Positive issues for the 2012 Server has been solved
Thank you
