I have a question about the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime fixlet. From what I recall, in the past, there was only a patch for “Runtime”. I am now seeing two different fixlets in our console with the same computers relevant for both fixlets. Could someone explain the difference between the two? I think I may have an idea, but want to validate my thought (bootstrapper being a smaller EXE and it pulls content from Microsoft vs. standalone is a larger install for full offline updating).

The main difference between the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime Standalone and Bootstrapper installers lies in how they handle the actual WebView2 Runtime installation and updates. The Bootstrapper is a small online installer that downloads the necessary components from the internet during installation, while the Standalone installer is a larger, offline installer containing all the necessary files, allowing installation without an internet connection.
