Content error

Hello,

I am using version 8.1.551.0 and i recently found the following error message on the console repeated 35 times, does anyone know what should be the “BESDomain_1_1.xsd” file and why it does not exist ?

At 27/04/2011 5:19:16 AM

in site BES Support

in domain specification PTCH-AIX.BESDomain

XML schema file ‘C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\BigFix\Enterprise Console\BES_EnterpriseServer\repsadmin\Sites\BES Support\BESDomain_1_1.xsd’ does not exist.

Thanks in advance!

That is unusual. That file should exist at the location that it is showing. It is a file included in the BES Support site and is a schema used to validate the documents that control the displaying of the domains. Can you check that the file does exist, and does this still occur after restarting the console?

Hello Jason,

May I know what should be the reason that caused this error?

"XML schema file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\BigFix\Enterprise

Console\BES_bfenterprise\admin\Sites\BES Support\BESDomain_1_1.xsd’ does not exist."?

I just removed all the errors and restarted the console, and the error didn’t appear again.

yes, the file exists, but i noticed that the console was forcing to exit without saving at the time i had those messages…

Thanks!

I am also running 8.1.551 only my content errors states:

in file “BESSupport.BESDomain”

in filter

in relevance “set of bes actions whose (not exists end date of it)”

Long domain relevance evaluation (2278ms)

I ran a search on all tasks/fixlets for anything that contained this relevance but was unable to find anything. The error contantly happens and I have noticed the console is slower then usual and sometimes freezes.

Do you have a lot of open actions?

The above error, is actually a warning. It’s taking the console a long time to find all actions with no end date, which is typically a bad thing to have so many of those types of actions. In the BigFix Management domain, under Actions -> With No End Date, are there a lot of actions there?

I have gone through and stopped unnecessary policies and have not seen the error for a couple of days now. Don’t know exactly which one was causing it.

Thanks!
