Good morning! Sanity check… is there any real connection between Console user/role config and Web Reports user/role config, or am I dreaming and you just have to duplicate roles on both?
(There’s an old forum post saying that I’m dreaming, but it’s from 11 years ago, so maybe it’s changed?)

That was definitely part of it, but I’d swear that I saw something in the Console, right along with WebUI and REST API, that granted access to Web Reports.
To my question though, can someone confirm for me that you do indeed have to create Roles on both places? That Console-defined users and roles are not effective in Web Reports (other than in the UI that @itsmpro92 shared above to restrict the view based on a console user)?
Since BigFix and Web Reports use separate databases, authentication and authorization are managed separately, as far as I know, aside from LDAP integration.
