I’m currently working with HCL support on this, but I’m reaching out here as well to see if others who may be using SAML Authentication have run into the same problem.
SAML Authentication works fine for our Windows Server 2022 test server (running BigFix 10.0.5) when using Web UI, Web Reports, or a Console installed on other OSes, but the Authentication window for the Console installed on Windows Server 2022 fails immediately with javascript errors.
Anyone else run into this?
Hi @straffin, the BigFix Console SAML login uses embedded IE.
You could try to put the SAML url in the Enterprise Mode site list, opening in IE11 Mode: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/ie11-deploy-guide/fix-compat-issues-with-doc-modes-and-enterprise-mode-site-list
Thanks, @DanieleColi ! That worked like a charm! (I had no idea Internet Explorer even still existed on Windows Server 2022 as an app, but it does! I thought it only existed as embeddable DLLs.)
