Is anyone else having an issue with their console crashing after installing IE9? When i resize any of the window panes the console crashes.
I am using console version 8.0.627.0.

I reported this as a bug back in October with the IE9 Beta. They said it would be reported as a bug and fixed, but one of my co-workers confirmed that the issue still persists with IE9 RTM and the BigFix console 8.1.

Yeah, the bug is still open (#38973). Wish I could provide more detail, but that is the long and short of it at the moment.

Is it worth contacting support about this issue? Does BigFix (IBM) confirm that this is still a problem in 8.1? I would just un-install it, but I need IE9 in order to use the IEAK to create a custom IE9 deployment package.

Support won’t be able to make the fix happen any faster. However, this
should
be fixed in the next 8.1 patch release. Can’t provide a date for you, unfortunately.

I am also having problems with the console hanging since upgrading to version 8.1.551. I also have IE 9 installed. Lockups happen when attempting to expand the computer summery screen.

I submitted a bug on this right when IE9 released. It only happens if you have data in the bottom pane and expand/contract a pane, such as the specific pane.

I experience the same issue. I confermed that after uninstalling IE 9 (reverting back to 8) the issue went away.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 32bit. I have seen this on multiple computers with IE 9 installed.

I just confirmed that version 8.1.608.0 resolves the issue.
