Connecting to the console

I am able to connect to the console using bfenterprise, but when I try to connect to EnterpriseServer I get the following eror:

A connection to the “BES_EnterpriseServer” database could not be established.

The database is on the same server and the database is running. How can I resolve this issue?

Hi smill59,

It sounds like your ODBC settings might not be configured properly. Go to Administrative Tools and ODBC and see if you can find out the issue (you can try the “Test” button in the wizard to verify the ODBC connection).
